About the presenters:
Libby Villavicencio
Libby V is a SCORE Columbus volunteer and knows organizations don’t happen by chance. They have strong leadership in place, a definition of the impact they want to have, a clear path for achieving their impact and the right people on the bus and in the right seats. She helps organizations line up everything they need to achieve stronger results than ever before. She is nationally respected for her work with communities, government, higher education, nonprofit and philanthropic organizations.
In her personal time she enjoys helping organizations through service on their boards, time with her family and friends, walking her rescue dogs, seeing good movies, live music, and exploring new restaurants
Dean Pulliam
Dean is a SCORE Columbus volunteer and was raised with small town, mid-western values, my life has revolved around family, neighbors & colleagues and career; a career that began and continues today to focus upon achieving nonprofit organization success. Together with my wife of 50+ years, this career has been lived out across 5 different states and in progressively more expansive & challenging leadership duties, all the while growing our family of 7 children [4-bio; 3-adopted] that now includes 12 grandchildren! Those career challenges exposed me to a broad range of nonprofit governance, compliance, management, accounting/cash-flow, fundraising and operational insights, which required an expansive array of skills & expertise to address. I learned much of what I needed through a network of mentors & colleagues from across the country. Today, operating The Pulliam Group, LLC [a consulting firm serving nonprofit ventures] allows me to share these lessons & insights, "paying-it-forward" so leaders now experiencing, or working to avoid, similar challenges at nonprofit organizations can experience successful outcomes.
