I was frequently asked by my clients: “What mattress should I be sleeping on?” I began to research mattresses and sleep. I wanted to use my expertise as a massage therapist, relieving people’s pain, to find a mattress that also gave them comfort and pain relief.
As a licensed massage therapist, I used my 25 years of experience to relieve people's pain and discomfort in their bodies. I want my clients to further improve their health with a better night’s sleep. Based on my client’s needs and feedback, I developed and sold a hybrid mattress.

I’m the only healthcare professional with a line of sleep products. Understanding the individual needs of my clients provides me with insight into what type of mattress would best meet those needs. This design ensures firm support, while still being adaptable to the unique body shape of the sleeper.
Once I had my idea in place, and my website up and running, I needed help taking it from there. SCORE helped me organize my thoughts and put a plan in place for my business. With my Mentor John Sonnhalter’s help, I have learned how to communicate with manufacturers to get my business off the ground in ways I didn’t know before. I’ve been a massage therapist all my life, so I didn’t know the ins and outs of business. John has given me countless ideas on how to market my business and has really helped me navigate the business world.
