After serving in the navy, where she was injured in a vehicle accident while reporting to a duty station, she acquired a BS degree in Business Administration from Bryan College. She then started Fros N Mane Beauty Supply as an ethnic hair shop in November 2017. Gaining experience from stylists and other customers shopping in the store, she saw the need to expand inventory to be inclusive of all ethnicities.
She was able to expand her business with the help of TVFCU’s (Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union) Idea Leap loan program. SCORE Counselors, acting as the technical assistance provider
