SCORE Charlotte presented its Distinguished Service Award for a New Member to Pamela Everett who joined the organization in May 2021. Ms. Everett immediately became very active in the organization as a mentor working with SCORE clients, as well as posting events and other news on social media, increasing our views, shares, attendance, and donations.
The award was presented at SCORE Charlotte’s annual Holiday Event held remotely via Zoom by Danny Fischer and Helen Ruth “HR” Harwell, SCORE Charlotte President Co-Chairs. Special guests for the evening’s celebration were Cathy Walton of Memphis, TN, SCORE SE Regional Vice President; Jim Poppe, of Wilmington, NC, SCORE District Director for North Carolina; and Jim Weiland, Assistant District Director of Charlotte NC
A resident of Harrisburg, NC, Everett met with 12 clients during her first four months at SCORE Charlotte.
“I have found experienced, wise, insightful help from SCORE mentors over a 25-year span,” noted one of her clients “and yesterday appeared to start my best mentor relationship yet.” Another client noted that Everett “had a high level of expertise and is very focused on supporting me. She makes me feel I can do this.”
A native of Tuscumbia, AL, Everett received a Bachelor of Textile Engineering degree from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business in Columbia, South Carolina.
With over 20 years of business experience, Everett’s background includes 11 years with Husqvarna Outdoor Products in Charlotte, NC where she held numerous positions in global product management, product development, and supply chain management.
After Husqvarna, Everett joined S&D Coffee & Tea in Concord, NC where she held various roles, including Director of Innovation and Product Strategy, Vice President of Insights and Product Innovation, and Senior Vice President of Product Development and Marketing. Thereafter, she worked as a freelance Strategy and Innovation Consultant in Charlotte in the food and beverage industry.
In October 2021, she joined Electrolux North America, Charlotte, NC where she currently leads Product Planning and Innovation activities.
Besides SCORE Charlotte, Everett also is a volunteer for Cabarrus Health Alliance in Kannapolis, NC. She also serves as an Advisory Council Member for The George Washington University’s Digital Marketing Program.
