What is SCORE Charlotte, Pitch for Growth
“Pitch for Growth”, Entrepreneurial Competition is an annual “Shark Tank”-style event organized and presented by the Charlotte Chapter of SCORE, the nation’s largest provider of free business mentoring and educational programs for small businesses.
Ten aspiring local entrepreneurs are invited to pitch their business ideas to an expert panel of judges. Three of the finalists are chosen as winners, with cash prizes up to $5000 and a valuable professional services basket to help them grow their business to the next level.
There is also a People’s Choice award, voted by the audience in attendance, for excellence in presentation.
The event is exciting, educational and fun!
In addition to the pitch contest, the event will include networking opportunities, local success stories, and a celebration of the small business community.
