Client Comments

The national headquarters of SCORE periodically surveys newly mentored clients seeking their opinion of their first mentoring session. The following comments were recently registered by SCORE Chapel Hill Durham clients.

"Your insights, advice, and resources were extremely helpful! I am so grateful for your time and energy, giving back through SCORE. It's an invaluable resource to me."

"The representative who met with me was so willing to give of his time, his valuable counseling and advice. When trying to schedule the initial meeting date he learned that I was wheel chair bound and my driver was not available on two of the selected dates, he promptly stated "Oh, I live just down the street, I am coming to you". What a great guy!"

"I had a great first meeting and I'm excited about how future meetings will help me think through many of my business issues. The only reason I did not score higher is because I have only had 1 meeting. I think as we progress through this process, I will continue to grow and feel more confident with my business decisions."

"My score mentors were very knowledgeable and easy to talk with.  They were incredibly helpful and I can see how they will be able to provide great advice at each step of my business growth."

"My mentors are very helpful, and it's incredibly valuable to have someone to talk to about all of this. I like the way SCORE works; it feels open and supportive, not judgmental."

"Both of my mentors were extremely professional, personable and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and gave me the best advice moving forward. I would definitely recommend."

"My mentor is excellent. I couldn't ask for better coaching. The seminars and programs offered by SCORE are extremely useful and are scoped well--applicable, digestible and convenient."
