What are the sales needed to cover costs and salary? How much merchandise do you need to carry, or how many tables will you need to break even? What would it cost to launch this venture? We will list out fixed costs, and then ongoing operation expenses. Once we walk through these basics, and understand the scope of turning the idea into a business, THEN it is time to look for a space, develop an inventory plan or menu, seek out software, fixtures, suppliers, etc. I start every new client with a ZOOM call, and primarily communicate via email.
