I have started small several businesses and also have assisted many others as both a consultant with a major accounting firm and as a college professor. Because I grew up in Latin America and worked there for over 20 years, I also have been involved in helping many Hispanic business succeed. My own businesses included insurance sales, a gym, a computer store (franchise), and housing construction. As a consultant I focused on financial analysis and the issue of identifying "where the money was made." And I taught Small Business and Entrepreneurship at the college level, along with international business. My current part-time job is in the area of international business.
