Please note that I typically check in about 1-2 times per week. I mostly follow up on the weekends.

Having been self-employed since high school, I feel I can offer others some insight and help. My primary business is Pixels Graphic Design, where I have worked with many other business types over the years. I've seen what has been successful and what just didn't work. At Pixels, I've managed 5 employees, 3 part time employees, and 2 interns during the height of our physical business. Since, I've transitioned to mostly a digital store front with local presence. This was a 4 year transition and just so happened to be mostly in place when Covid shutdown our physical office. I feel this experience has taught me some survival techniques as well as a first hand understanding of the personal battles a business owner will face.

My second business is call Pro Computer Repair. This shop fixes computers and removes viruses and malware. Located in New Monterey, it's primary goal is to server that side of town, Pacific Grove, and Carmel somewhat. This is more of a retail setting but still specialist work style.

Early experience is from managing my families music trio, Sunset Jazz. My family has been performing music professionally for 3 generations. I performed in the band playing keytar-bass and created all marketing materials, mastered the CD recordings, managed publications and interviews, as well as booked performances (gigs).

I have been the Treasurer for my local Pacific Grove Rotary Club and a member for the Optimist Club where I have been able to participate at the clubs camp program for terminally ill children. I am also a volunteer for the Employment Support Network.

Today, I am mostly a fulltime dad to my son, Luke. He was part of the Covid baby boom, born June, 2021. I've been learning a lot about children since I spend every day with my son and around his friends. We attend Parents Place and venture to the Natural History Museum and Library often. We are fortunate to live next to Del Monte Forest. So we also get in some great nature walks. Luke enjoys listening to music as well as playing and performing music. He also seems to be studying dancing as he is showing me new moves just about every week! We of course like to read and draw together. His favorite toys usually have wheels or can be used to pretend to guitar or sing, even though he has a real guitar! He's a great mix of my wife and I, 50/50 of our best parts.
