Project objective: Assessment of the market forces to discover innovative ways to increase market share and profitability. 
Results:
•Market Analysis that would conclude if there was truly a market for the product or service
•Technology and Product Analysis critical to take a detailed look at company’s current offerings to determine a method improving and expanding upon them
•Financial Analysis which consisted of analyzing income and expenses to obtain a greater understanding of current and future risks and profitability.  The analysis only included revenues and costs to find ways improving the bottom line

 

Strategic Management Audit: Security Services (Merger & Acquisition)

Project objective: The management audit aimed to detect a small company's potential managerial problems or system constraints that threatened its existence.  The processes used for the internal audit were through information gathering of the internal and external environments.  A series of questions were asked to key managers. From those responses the strengths and weaknesses were identified and in return illuminated the core system constraints that caused conflicts in the organization.

•Developed an assessment of the company’s internal workings 
•Developed a cause and effect analysis
•Created a situation analysis and made strategic recommendations

The most important issue to determine is what, how and how many you want. For example, I get clients who say, “I want to import apparel”, which is about as useful as I want to go out to dinner. The more information you have, the easier it is to develop relationships, find suppliers, and get reliable information.
