I worked for Goodyear Chemical Division for in a variety of commercial positions, including sales, marketing and business management. We manufactured and sold synthetic rubber, latex, resins, and other related chemical products to the tire, rubber, carpet, adhesives, and other related markets world wide. I retired after 39 years as director of global sales. I then joined Textile Rubber and Chemical Company in Dalton and vice president and general manager of the ThermoTex division Textile Rubber is a major supplier of chemical products and solutions, to the carpet and synthetic to the carpet and synthetic turf industry. The ThermoTex division was a startup business for Textile Rubber to create recyclable solutions for the backside of carpets. We began the business with innovative technology and zero sales.
