Over 35 years of experience in the Financial Services industry in positions of increasing responsibility. Primary career focus was in the Human Resources function, serving as the Chief Human Resource Officer. My HR roles included the full scope of the HR function. Areas of emphasis included Employee Selection processes, Compensation design and administration, benefit plan design and administration, compliance with Fair Employment Practices, employee training and development, talent assessment and workforce planning.
During my career I also had leadership and oversight responsibility for Facilities, Purchasing, Sales Administration, Compliance Operations, Food Service and Hospitality Operations. Some of this experience included the oversight responsibility for construction projects, as well as the development and execution of business plans.

Experience include 15 years of extensive commercial lending to Businesses,Professionals and Multi-national companies. In additional I passed and the Series 7 Brokers test and was licensed through my employer. I no longer have the Series 7 designation.
For 8 years, 2004-2012, I worked with a start up bank in Seattle focusing primarily on small, family owned business and professionals. We focused considerable time and energy on originating and processing SBA loans including 7a and 504 loans.

I retired in 2013 from a career in law firm management. I had been the chief operating officer and the administrator for 5 years each at two Minneapolis law firms. I spend two+ years as the Finance Director at a third law firm. I ran a CPA firm for five years in Michigan. I am an inactive CPA and have my MBA in Business Administration. I taught accounting at Metropolitan State University for two years.
