At the same time, people are actively seeking work situations that give them flexibility and a greater sense of ownership in the success of the company. SCORE Association and Verizon Information Services Release Free "How To" Workbook on Internet Marketing

Washington, D.C.—The SCORE Association and Verizon Information Services have formed a national alliance to provide small businesses educational materials on Internet marketing. Together, they have developed How To Really Market on the Internet, a practical guide to email marketing, web identity and web site development and promotion.

Washington, D.C.─The SCORE Association “Counselors to America’s Small Business” significantly increased outreach to the small business marketplace by 14 percent in the fiscal year 2002, which ended on September 30, 2002. Nationwide, more than 335,000 entrepreneurs took advantage of SCORE’s business counseling and small business workshops.

Carl O. Trautmann Begins Term as National Chairman of SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business"

Washington, D.C.—The SCORE Association "Counselors to America's Small Business" announces the election of Carl O. Trautmann, of St. Louis, Missouri, as the chairman of the SCORE Board of Directors. Trautmann is an experienced Fortune 500 corporate business manager, engineer, and business consultant. He begins his two-year term as chairman of the SCORE Board of Directors on October 1, 2002.

Joseph Wollenberger Elected to National Post as Board Director for SCORE Association “Counselors to America’s Small Business”

He begins his term on October 1, 2002.
