I have 30 years of experience in marketing luxury goods (jewelry) and consumer-packaged goods (food) with manufacturing companies. I have worked extensively in direct marketing and catalog sales, as well as distributing through wholesale and retail channels. Early in my career, I was a staff consultant with a general management-consulting firm and worked on planning, organization and cost reduction projects. How I can help you

I am a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.S. in General Studies and Marketing. I have recently retired from Roseburg Forest Products where I held the position of the National Sales Manager for the Engineered Wood Products (EWP) business unit for the last 12 years. I have 31 years of experience in the EWP business and prior to that had management experience in the grocery, cabinet, building, remodeling and lumber industries. I am experienced with the promotion, sales and marketing of value-added products to the building and construction industries throughout the United States and Canada. In my free time I enjoy, exercising, gardening (landscaping), reading and spending time with my family. I am a certified “duffer” at the game of golf.

Retired Associate Director/Plant Manager from Procter & Gamble in 2010 to pursue my passions as a non-profit leader and social entrepreneur. I have multi-national corporate Manufacturing, Product Supply and Organizational Development experience through several business leadership roles across diverse regions, businesses/consumer brands, supply chains, product platforms and technologies. I've worked as a global and international manager in organizations throughout the US, Mexico, Latin America, Europe, Asia and West Africa. I retired as an Associate Director/Plant Manager from the P&G Pet Care Plant in Henderson, North Carolina, USA. Prior to that, I was the Plant Manager at the P&G Baby/Feminine Care Plant in Tepeji, Mexico, near Mexico City. In 2002, I founded Advanced Transformational Technologies, LLC as a business and organizational consulting company that specializes in leadership development, performance based management systems and continuous improvement methodologies. I currently volunteer on several boards and advisory councils. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio (1989), and was awarded my Master’s of Science in Positive Organizational Development (MS POD) from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management (2010).

Bob had a career that spanned a number of different roles of management including engineering, manufacturing, market and sales for both Fortune 500 companies and smaller fab-less semiconductor enterprises.  He managed several off shore assembly locations and special assignments like ground water remediation actions and has been a CFO for a non-profit organization.  A majority of his work was in marketing and sales management  both in the USA and in the Pacific Rim markets.  After retiring  he has  helped over 500 Silicon Valley SCORE clients in face to face as well Internet meetings.  His  clients have had service and product lines in markets ranging from retail consumers to manufacturers.  He believes his background while in his working career, as well as with SCORE, has enabled him to best understand small businesses. He now has been with Silicon Valley SCORE for over 10 years.
