We manufactured and sold synthetic rubber, latex, resins, and other related chemical products to the tire, rubber, carpet, adhesives, and other related markets world wide. I retired after 39 years as director of global sales. I then joined Textile Rubber and Chemical Company in Dalton and vice president and general manager of the ThermoTex division Textile Rubber is a major supplier of chemical products and solutions, to the carpet and synthetic to the carpet and synthetic turf industry. The ThermoTex division was a startup business for Textile Rubber to create recyclable solutions for the backside of carpets. We began the business with innovative technology and zero sales.
