My area of expertise is accounting, business plans, cash flow, budgeting, reporting and business processes.  Over the years, my accounting and finance career has enabled me to help many small/medium businesses and I would be happy to help yours.  Currently I am co-owner and co-founder of The Dorsey Group, a Continuous Performance Consulting firm, specializing in strengthening the core processes and accounting systems within an organization.   I have built accounting departments, managed accounting/finance departments, installed  internal controls, constructed business plans and budgets, managed cash flow, performed human resource functions, a member of the executive teams and hav even sold a few of the businesses.  Family started/run companies are a specialty and passion of mine.   As a visiting and adjunct accounting professor, teaching classroom and online courses, I am current on the latest accounting practices. My advise to any size business:  A solid business plan, strong core processes and team-oriented players must all be present for a business to achieve their goals of success.
