In 1982 myself and two other employees of Cruisers but together a leveraged buyout of Mirrocraft Aluminum Boats, that was also an operating unit of Mirro Corporation. We increased sales of Mirrocraft Boats (Northport Inc.) from 4 million in sales to 20 Million when we sold the business in 2003. I stayed on from 2003 until 2012 as CEO of the new Corporation. In 2012 I was able to lead four employees to the purchase of that business back to local ownership and with that transaction, I retired.
