How I can help you

Expert in creating business plans. Very knowledgeable in business operations. My 31 year business career was spent with the DuPont Co. in the area of polymers and advanced materials. After starting as a research chemist working on new polymers, I moved on to management positions in sales, marketing, plant technical support, product management, business and strategic planning, and eventually business director. I have worked extensively in South America, Europe and Asia Pacific (especially China). I have been involved in the start-up of numerous new small businesses, and led a team evaluating which new business concepts to pursue. I am experienced in mergers and acquisitions, having been involved in more than a dozen deals (including licensing). As result of the business positions held, I am knowledgeable about aspects of the chemical, automotive, aerospace, apparel, floor covering, electrical/electronic connectors, and general industrial markets. As business director I was accountable for businesses with $250 million in sales, 600+ employees and several manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Europe, and Asia Pacific. As a 10 person leadership team member of a $2.5 billion dollar strategic business unit, I led a multi-year program to install a new managing process to improve performance and individual accountability.
