A mentoring session is a confidential, personalized conversation with a business expert to answer a question or to solve a problem that you’re facing.
This in-person program is an introduction to starting and organizing a small business. Topics include understanding corporate structures, business planning, and marketing along with an overview of various financial documents and what they mean to your business. Also included is a discussion on the best strategies for deciding between starting from scratch, buying, or franchising.
The course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to successfully acquire an existing small business. Participants will learn the step-by-step process of identifying potential acquisition targets, conducting due diligence, negotiating and closing the deal.
