I continue to enjoy working in the Insurance and Financial industry sectors country-wide for close to forty years. I have been employed with the top Fortune Insurance / Financial Companies (i.e.AIG). To become a handpicked President within these corporations requires leadership, knowledge and understanding in these areas: finance, business strategy planning, operations, business development, marketing, sales, training, actuary, billing/receivables, risk management, legal, compliance, and human resources. All areas that help businesses at some point in the cycle. Given my background with all the job assignments I have done, I feel that I would be a very viable mentor for business owners and businesses. In commercial insurance you really need to know the business sector and the workings of these companies. I have insured many types of industries: Construction, Manufacturing, Transportation, Wholesale Trade, Retail Trade, Finance, Insurance, Real Estate, Hospitality, Services, and Public Administration. You have to know the workings of these companies from opening the doors to the evening hours on a financial and business strategy basis to provide insurance coverage. At one corporate assignment, I was head of all businesses <25M country-wide in sales/revenue for insurance and financial products. Innovation and problem solving saved many of these businesses. I have been very fortunate to have much exposure, experience and knowledge to mentor other business owners. These traits and experiences are transferable.
