Success: Business Basics

Keeping It Simple

In business, nothing matters except how well organized you are and your innate ability to process situations clearly and with many options in mind.  Being a successful business person is simply a matter of incorporating 3 basic skills:
  • Being organized.
  • Thinking clearly.
  • Knowing that there are no problems….only solutions.
A team of mentors, advisors and colleagues can be an invaluable asset in this process.  Remember a business leader is just someone who can motivate and inspire others.

Excellent post! I'd like to

Excellent post! I'd like to add that business owners should seriously consider systemization early on. Systemization is simply the act of creating written instructions for everything that you do...from taking incoming calls to building the latest go-go gadget tool.

Doing this will help you in a few ways:

1) Someone can easily perform the tasks for you, so that you can focus on larger priorities.

2) It will help you to identify if what you're doing is working or not. If you do the same task, yet you are not gettting the desired outcome every time, then you may need to revise the entire system or only parts of it.

3) Writing systems down automatically helps you to organize your thoughts and actiions.

Don't try to eat the whole elephant, just take one bit at a time:-)
