Intellectual Property for Small Businesses

In the modern economy, small businesses entrepreneurs provide some of the highest value creation through a combination of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Having an understanding of the intellectual property that you are creating and how to protect your investment now will save you headaches in the future. It will also help as you develop and invest in your business to avoid infringing on the IP of other existing businesses.

You will learn how to think about IP and how to plan your time and investment in this aspect of your business.

Writing a Winning Business Plan

A business plan is a tool for thinking more clearly about your business idea. It helps you stay organized and on track, gain a better understanding of your market, confirm that your financial model is realistic, and create a long-term vision and strategy.
