Having been a SCORE client myself, and having 5+ years of experience in a profitable multi-unit small business puts me in a unique position to help other potential SCORE clients. When I started my journey in entrepreneurship in 2017, I had the guidance of a great SCORE mentor and friend, which I found was a real edge to my overall confidence level. Although my mentor had experience in a different industry, she understood business and the complexities, and was able to offer an open ear and moral support during some rocky times. Now, as a SCORE mentor, I can do the same as well as offer guidance in all of the areas that are required for a successful business, such as leadership, project management, organization, finance (accounting/cash flow/budgeting), HR (hiring/recruiting/management), daily ops, staff communication, and customer service. I'm looking forward to building relationships and working with SCORE clients!
