I have 29 years of experience in software engineering, conceptualizing, building and releasing software products that went into desktops, laptops, printers and phones. My skills also include hiring talent, professionally developing, mentoring and retaining this talent through management by objectives. The last 10 years of my career involved managing teams across geographies to deliver new and innovative products and therefore I feel that I have the background to mentor SCORE clients who are looking to start and/or help grow their business. I also have experience in starting my own company with a cofounder in Finance and we were able to take the software product we had envisioned to the Alpha stage. This included conceptualizing the product , hiring contract developers and then developing the SW to where we were able to test it and make an informed decision to continue or pivot to something else. This journey came with it's own unique experiences and learnings and therefore should help in my mentorship of clients who are interested in starting their own business.
