David B Lile, David B Lile
I am David Bryan Lile, and being seventy two years old, I am thankful for each and every day of life!
My unique photographic journey started at the age of fifty five, so remember!…You are never too old to start an adventure!
At that time, I experienced a never to be forgotten event that was the beginning catalysts that eventually brought my unique, artistic photographic image business to life.
In 2009, due to my wife's insistence with her perceiving that I looked anemic, I went to a local doctor to have a general health checkup.
Five hours after my earlier doctor visit, on the evening of Christmas Eve, I received a call at my home from Akron City Hospital. They told me to immediately come to the hospital Emergency Room. Surprisingly, after an additional blood test there in the ER, I was given the diagnoses of having Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML).
My white blood cell count was 292,000. I learned later from my doctor, Douglas Trochelman, that had I not been treated that evening, that I would have been about eight days from death.
This was the major event that radically changed my thinking, along with my love, appreciation and gratefulness to God, for my life, and my new found artistic passion.
I was now not afraid to launch out into new, uncharted photographic waters. I was also not fearful of creating wild and crazy, vibrantly colorful imagery in order to inspire others and encourage them to reach beyond their present limits.
From that decision during 2009 and onward, I have carefully and passionately worked with each of my images through the power of Adobe Photoshop, which allowed my creative passion to bring these images to life.
My photographic goal is to Inspire life among the otherwise inanimate, while integrating architectural and environmental elements into powerful expressions of art. I take the artifacts of every environment that I encounter, and bring breath, life and color back into every previously forgotten landscape.
Working for nearly two decades, as an active, creative partner with interior designers, architectural firms, design agencies, global corporations, non-profit organizations and residential spaces, I have helped make their specific interior/exterior design concepts a reality.
I produce exceptional custom, unique products by working confidently with each of my clients, to understand their needs, vision and voice.
My goal is to provide a mutually beneficial business relationship based on a professional atmosphere, coupled with your need for flexibility and trust, along with a common desire to ultimately provide both you and your client with the best environmental design space possible.
My clients may choose from my catalog of 15,000+ multi-subject, post produced images or they may commission me to create custom, location/subject oriented artwork and imagery, to meet specific project specifications.
All of my David B Lile images may also be changed color palette wise and visually, style wise, to match each client's specific needs!
We will work together, from start to finish, with each project in which we are engaged, in order to fully meet their expectations, both for their clients and their personal design intentions.

Around 2018, I met Jill McDermott, a previous SCORE Volunteer Mentor, at an area photo club meeting. She appreciated my unique photographic work and suggested that I may benefit from considering SCORE. From there, with our first meeting, I also met Mike Johnson, a present SCORE Volunteer Mentor.
Both Mike and Jill have helped me be able to transform and focus my business goals in order to positively and professionally attract new clients. They worked with me on creating a fabulous general business information portfolio, which I always present to new clients.
Their expertise, business knowledge, and insights have positively affected my relationship to present clients and potential future clients.
Mike and Jill gave me the tools to increase my business vision. They also were there to help me work through mental roadblocks, through their experiences and knowledge.
They were encouraging, but they were also real. They allowed me to view my personal photographic passions not only as a casual thought, but as a viable business, capable of linking up with those that, before our meeting sessions, I could only imagine having as a client, purchasing my photographic artwork.
They took me from birthing my initial personal thoughts to a viable and successful business plan.
Do not think twice about whether you should or should not engage with SCORE. They will help guide and direct you in multi-faceted ways that you cannot even imagine, along with giving you solid advice, as you experience business growth! I would highly recommend SCORE to anyone who is interested in fine-tuning their business. I am thankful for the Canton SCORE Team!
Both of my SCORE mentors, Mike Johnson and Jill McDermott, were professional, caring, concerned, knowledgeable and filled with immense insight, as we addressed both the positive aspects of my business skills, and the business skills in which I could use positive and caring help.
During my time with them, they were quite amazing, each with their unique set of professional skills, along with their business experience and knowledge.
They truly changed my business life and gave me encouragement to make needed changes.
Bottom line... I now have the courage to send out emails and business information, with confidence, to potential clients. I also have the courage to personally stop in Interior Design firms and companies, in order to share my portfolio, and successfully introduce myself.
There has been sustained monetary growth and new photographic areas, such as uniquely using a combination of AI imagery that I create, uniquely meshed with my own David B Lile imagery, to create uniquely unusual and thought-provoking imagery.
My ultimate goal with all of my imagery is to positively affect the lives and thoughts of those who purchase my images and generate community in public spaces.
In my journey of life, from my childhood on, I have realized that to influence others, in positive ways, one must walk the walk and talk the talk, of honesty, character, love and respect.
There is no substitution for empathy, honesty and heart felt compassion. This simple concept covers home, family, business, friends, your community, your beliefs and on to the entire world!
Lastly…I have a simple philosophy that I often use, to remind myself and share with others …“Onward and Upward!"
