Have a great “elevator pitch” ready. A short, snappy 30-second blurb about you and your business is a fine way to build a conversation, especially if it doesn’t sound rehearsed. In addition, always ask people about themselves. Interview them. People love to talk about themselves, and will think you are a great person for asking.
 

Q: What are 3 secrets to crafting a solid business growth strategy?
 
  • Make sure you have a strong, professional online presence—web site, social media, e-marketing, etc.
  • Continue to look for opportunity, and to jump on the ones you see.
  • Keep trying new marketing strategies; it need not be expensive. At my website for instance, we offer a webinar called Marketing on a Shoestring. Try some new, inexpensive marketing ideas if you want to keep growing.
