Dealing with Cryptolocker and Ransomware

The idea of hackers and cybercrime is growing exponentially.

Hackers will infect your computer with software that allows them to freeze your system and it can not be unlocked unless a ransom is paid. 

There are a few steps you can take if you notice you may have been infected, such as:

  • Isolate which computer(s) have been infected and take them off your network.
  • Asses the damage.
  • Keep data back-ups.
