Sue Hartman of Rochester, N.Y., Honored with the Herb Ausderau Award For Her Support of SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business”
Washington, D.C.—The SCORE Foundation presents the Herb Ausderau Award to Sue Hartman of The Hartman Group, a strategic management consulting firm. Hartman, a former board director of The SCORE Foundation and a former SCORE board director, accepted the award at a SCORE gala dinner in Nashville, Tenn., on August 24.
Hartman was honored for her philanthropic support of SCORE mentoring and services nationwide. The Herb Ausderau Award is named for former longtime counselor, SCORE board director and 2001 Walter H. Channing Award of Excellence winner, the late Herbert “Herb” M. Ausderau. As the second major, planned gift donor to The SCORE Foundation, Ausderau dedicated his volunteer service to the American dream of small business ownership through SCORE.
Hartman is an advocate for the value of small business and the spirit of entrepreneurship in America. She has more than 25 years of diversified experience in research, product development, manufacturing management, marketing and international business development. She is founder and president of The Hartman Group.
