SCORE Opening New Doors

Establishing a private practice has been Renee Keller’s dream for the past 18 years.  When she decided to start formulating a plan to accomplish her goal, she only had lots of notes, pictures and ideas but no clue on the next step.

Keller, a licensed psychotherapist, certified in Rapid Resolution Therapy and an educator, is the founder of Mosaic Unlimited, Inc., a psychotherapy based practice in Glen Carbon that specializes in treating trauma. 

Keller began researching the help available through local colleges and came across the organization SCORE, which is the volunteer arm of the Small Business Administration,  and since 1964 has served over 10 million small business owners nationally.

“I was very interested from the onset because it was either free or low-cost, it offered a flexible schedule when meeting with a mentor, and their experienced volunteers provided education and guidance throughout the process,” she said. “I went ahead and submitted my information then received a reply within a day or so.”
