SCORE Honors Métier, a Software Company in Washington, DC, as a Rising Star Small Business

Washington, D.C.The SCORE Association “Counselors to America’s Small Business” and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) honor Métier, Ltd. as an SBA Rising Star. Sandra Richardson, co-founder of Métier, received this honor at the SBA’s national headquarters in Washington, DC. The SBA Rising Star program highlights entrepreneurs for successfully growing their business.

 

Richardson and co-founder Douglas Clark opened Métier nearly seven years ago. Métier is a software company that provides predictive technology for project portfolio management. Clients include government agencies, contractors and large commercial enterprises that use Métier’s software to improve business performance.

 

Métier has experienced tremendous growth, increasing revenues by 400 percent over the past four years despite large, established competitors. For this accomplishment, Métier was honored with a position on the 2004 Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies.
