SCORE honored Kim Haas, owner of Haas Media in Milwaukee, Wis., and Jersey City, N.J., with the SCORE Award for Outstanding Minority-owned Business. She earned this honor for her contributions to his community, exemplary achievements in her field, and overall business success.
In 2003, Haas combined her love of languages and cultures with communications to start her own business, Haas Media. When looking to start and later expand her business into the New York City area, she turned to SCORE for mentoring and advice. “Anyone even thinking about starting a business should check out SCORE,” she says.
