SCORE Board Director Roslyn Goldmacher Honored as New York Enterprise Report 2006 Advocate of the Year

Washington, D.C.The New York Enterprise Report presents the 2006 Advocate of the Year Award to SCORE Board Director Roslyn Goldmacher of Westbury, N.Y., for her commitment to small business and for her professional achievements. Goldmacher is the president and CEO of the Greater New York Development Co., a nonprofit that provides long term, low down payment and low fixed rate second mortgages to small businesses that buy, renovate or construct buildings in New York State.

 

The New York Enterprise Report is a leading business publication that publishes articles written by experts on small and midsize businesses. The Advocate of the Year Award recognizes individuals who make a significant positive contribution to the life of small businesses in the greater New York City area.

 

Goldmacher joined SCORE in 1998 and is active in the Long Island SCORE office. She has received other recognition for her outstanding philanthropic work. She is the recipient of the SBA Pinnacle Award, Women in Business Advocate Award and the Financial Services Advocate Award. She has been honored by the New York State Legislature as the Woman of the Year, and by Newsday as the Volunteer of the Year.”
