Mobile is New Mindset in 2013

For 2013, one thing is certain, says Hal Finkelstein, South Palm Beach SCORE chairman. "Everybody that expects to keep up with the business world has to be mobile, including the mom and pops, which make up 70 percent of Florida businesses," said Finkelstein.

"Small businesses right now are focusing more on sales than fiscal cliffs or health care," says Finkelstein. "Sales are the blood of a company and if you don't have sales, you don't have a business."

"Using social media technology for the sake of using it is a flawed philosophy," said Finkelstein. "Using it as a tool for the operating of your business is the key."
