An Edinburgh nurse and entrepreneur will attend a two-day business seminar thanks to Sam’s Club and SCORE.

Bonnie Shehan, a nurse for 23 years, a year ago launched AlzSafe, a home-based business that sells kits that help families enhance the safety of loved ones who have dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. The kit includes oven-door locks and motion sensors that automatically switch on lights to prevent patients from stumbling in the dark.
