CHESTER COUNTY SCORE ESTABLISHES SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE
Small Business Mentoring Organization Now Accessible on
Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
WEST CHESTER, Pa., March 28, 2013 - Chester County SCORE, a nonprofit
organization dedicated to helping launch and grow successful businesses,
announced today that it has established a presence on Facebook, Twitter and
LinkedIn to interact with clients, partners and members.
“In recent years, more and more organizations have come to realize the value of social
media for marketing and communications,” said Jerry Francis, co-chairman of SCORE’s
Chester County chapter. “For us, social media adds an important tool in our efforts to
help small businesses grow and prosper by providing real-time news about our services,
workshops and seminars, as well as other relevant information for our stakeholders.”
SCORE volunteers provide free face-to-face counseling and conduct workshops and
seminars across a wide range of topics targeted at entrepreneurs and small business
