Chester County SCORE Co-Sponsors New Bilingual Seminar Starting in September Designed to Help Latino Entrepreneurs Fulfill Their Dreams
WEST CHESTER, Pa., August 26, 2013 - On Tuesday, September 24, 2013, an information session and press conference will be held to kick off "Business Skills for Success for Latino Entrepreneurs", an eight-week bilingual program offered by the Kutztown University Latino Business Resource Center in partnership with La Comunidad Hispana, National Penn Bank, and the Chester County Chapter of SCORE.
The Free September 24th Information Session will be held at La Comunidad Hispana, 731 W. Cypress Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Interested participants will learn about the course and then register for all of the eight week series during Tuesday's event. Each session will run on consecutive Wednesdays starting October 2nd from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at La Comunidad Hispana. Total tuition for the course is $50. The covered subjects include business planning, marketing, financial models, bank products, insurance, and legal and zoning regulations.
Horace Scherer, project coordinator for SCORE and bilingual business counselor, has worked alongside the sponsoring partners to promote and facilitate this unique and highly anticipated event. The seminars are designed to help Latino entrepreneurs develop business concepts and teach skills and knowledge required for business success. Scherer's enthusiasm for the kinds of benefits that this program will bring to the Kennett Square Latino community is palpable.
