Food industry customers were independent and chain retail stores, food service, concession and industrial accounts. Products sold were vegetable oils largely in the gulf south. Promotional activities were developed with local advertising agencies and included TV, radio, newspaper advertisements, cookbooks as well as point of sale and sales collateral material were developed for the consumer product profit center. In the three years I managed the consumer products division, profits doubled. As project manager for a company-wide cost saving campaign saved over $500 thousand in a year.
