Spent 25 years on active duty with the US Air Force. Enlisted in july 1942 and retired with rank of L/C in February 1967. After military retirement, spent 25 years in Economic Development, first with the Louisiana Dept. of Eco. Dev., followed by Ex. Dir. of non-profit Eco. Dev. Foundations in Alexandria, La. followed by Monroe, La. Did consulting work in the ED field from 1987 until 2000. Helped to create a SCORE chapter in Northeast Louisiana (Chapter 0644). Have held management positions in the chapter from the initial start and until present date. . |

Attended a Jr. College in Mn. followed by Minnesota School of Business, graduating in 1940. Called up for military service in 1942. Attended the Univ. of Maryland while stationed in Germany and later England. Attended the USAF Institute of Technology with resident at Ohio State Univ. in Columbus, Ohio. Received my commission at Yale University. Have many many credit hours, but never officially got a Diploma from a 4 year institution.
