Mark is a CPA with a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas in Austin. He worked in public accounting (mostly tax and auditing) and then Houston Natural Gas (mostly economic feasibility studies and SEC work).  From there, he went to Rowan Companies Inc. and spent most of his time there as the Corporate Secretary and also handled many SEC matters.    He was the founding President of the Houston Chapter of Active Corps of Executives (a brother organization to SCORE) back in the 1970s and is presently the SCORE Southeast Texas District Director.  He has been retired since 2006.
