Anup Mody, Managing Director of The 3C Group, has 30+ years of national and international experience in business strategy, marketing, sales, and management/executive education with Fortune 100 companies as well as start-up businesses. His line management experience enables him to bring business reality into his management development assignments. His company helps businesses develop great management talent via leading edge business simulations. He has facilitated training workshops and simulations for companies like Wal-Mart, GE, Xerox, DOW, NCR, Verizon, McGraw-Hill and Reuters in Latin America, Asia, Europe, Australia and USA, as well as for smaller companies. Audiences have been from various business functions and levels. Immediately prior to forming his firm, Anup worked at Telecom giant GTE Corporation (now Verizon) where he directed the global efforts in marketing, sales management and international education, and co-led several enterprise-wide Leadership development initiatives. He also held senior positions in the Sales and Marketing functions and can be credited for helping to develop a world-class sales culture. For a Verizon-led joint venture in China, he was on the executive start-up team serving as the Country Director of Marketing & Sales with complete functional responsibility for this wireless business touching 65 cities/towns across China. For telecommunications companies in Latin America and North Africa he has consulted on business plan development and marketing strategy. He also worked as Vice President, Business Development for a young US telecom service provider, growing it to a $13m business in 2 years. It was later sold to a very large corporation. He started his career at Xerox Corporation where he held positions in major accounts sales, sales training, marketing, and national accounts management.
