Session 6: On Line Marketing will make use of Wi-Fi to bring reality to the discussion of Websites and Social Media platforms. Clients are encouraged to being their laptops. The SCORE instructor will discuss attributes of a good website and will offer to critique Websites of the clients. The discussion of Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter will also be augmented by Wi-Fi. Illustrations of the creation of various Social Media Home pages will be provided. Illustrations will be provided to show how to make Websites and Social Media platforms friendly to customers accessing by Mobile devices.
Simple Steps for Growing Your Business has been designed specifically for small business owners and managers. The goal is to provide the information needed to enhance growth and profitability of small businesses and enable the change from start-up mode to growth mode. The Program is not suitable for those engaged in starting their business. The Workshop Series will be performed in seven sessions. The Introductory Session is free and will be open for up to 40 members of the Chamber. Six Optional Sessions are available for selection according to the needs of the members. We anticipate that the Optional Sessions will have up to 18 Clients. SCORE Mentors will be assigned to each Client to assist with tailoring the “lessons learned” to fit their business. Free facilitated Roundtable discussions will follow the workshops to offer the continuing benefits of peer to peer learning. There is a nominal fee only for the Optional Sessions.
