Manager with a career focus in opening or remodeling properties.  Opened six new locations and executed two remodels.  Became a training manager, focusing on internal managerial candidates.  In last training property, developed and trained more internal managerial candidates for the Applebee’s franchisee than were hired externally, and with a better retention rate than external hires.

 

Kiteboard Athlete, Instructor -- International Kiteboarding Association

Professionally sponsored kiteboarder and International Kiteboarding Association member.  First athlete to cross Lake Michigan by kiteboard.  Independent kiteboarding consultant for long distance record attempts.  Utilized social media, web forums and television production to generate sponsorships, interest in events, and for fundraising.  Contributing writer for kiteboarding magazines.
