I practiced law in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for over 30 years with a focus on small business, corporate, real estate, condominium and franchise law. I also developed and managed many commercial and residential properties; owned and operated a major hotel; developed and operated a non-equity country club; developed condominiums, and built single-family homes. More recently, I have served as CFO of a lighting supply company, developed and operated a meat business producing sausages, and co-owned and operated an employment/staffing business. My SF SCORE counseling is thus as broad and varied as my business and legal experience permits. I am a problem solver who likes nothing better than to figure a way out of a dilemma. Mark Lowenstein was an Assistant Professor of Business at  a small college most recently. Mr. Lowenstein has a wide background in business development, strategic alliances, marketing and international/domestic sales channel management in the software/High Tech industry. He was a principal/founder in two small software high tech startups.

Currently and for the past ten years, own and run a tax preparation and accounting business focused on small and medium sized businesses of all types and legal structures.
