These two businesses accounted for two billion dollars in annual sales. Accomplishments included installing SAP R3 system to replace many aging mainframe applications. Staff was about 60 direct associates and over 50 indirect, and at times up to 50 consultants. System was installed in over 40 locations in US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Spoke at various SAP symposiums about the project. Retired from The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in January, 2001. Served as a mentor for students in Kent State’s MBA program. From 2001 to present, volunteer as SCORE counselor providing help with business plans, startup steps, and IT issues. Participate in Business Basics and Resume Writing workshops.

Worked primarily in the database-related facets of IT for over 25 years and was responsible for the overall architecture of a number of systems. Ran my own consulting firm, specializing in the areas of database administration, data modeling and creation of database dependent web sites.
