Founder & Manager of Automatic Fasteners, a Construction Contractors supply company in 1959. Sold Automatic Fasteners to Allied Products Corp., a public company on the N.Y Stock Exchange in 1967. Retained position as a Division Manager until 1987. I retired in 1987. Automatic Fasteners had branches throughout the South East portion of the United States. It had a fleet of 24 trucks and 10 warehouses that sold and delivered to job sites Electric Tools, Stud Guns,Diamond Drilling Equipment, Concrete Anchors and Fastener Hardware. In addition we had the United States exclusive distributorship for Impex Tools, a line of imported electric construction tools and Powder Actuated Tools. As Division manager I was responsible for marketing, budgeting, collections, purchasing, importing,and the national marketing program. I had extensive experience with product distribution directly. In 1976 I was one of the founders of STAFDA, a National Trade Association dedicated to the distribution and sales of Tools and Accessories for the Construction Industry. Today STAFDA is one of the leading Trade Associations in the United States.

  • President & CEO of an international specialty construction company that designed, engineered, fabricated and installed custom designed tensile fabric structures, skylights and long span roof systems for domed stadiums and other large buildings. Negotiated the transition from USA to Japanese ownership and established two JVs in Asia.
