Innovators in Online Business Advice

More than 70 percent of Americans have access to the Web. And, way back in 1995, SCORE started connecting with entrepreneurs like you via a forum on Compuserve.

How times have changed. Each year, more than 120,000 small business sessions are held through SCORE mentoring online using our Ask SCORE widget. Millions have visited www.score.org.

Our Rankings
#1 Small business, association site in the U.S., according to Alexa.com.
#20 Small business site in the U.S., according to Alexa.com.
Top 1 percent of blogs worldwide, SCORE Women's Success Blog, according to Technorati.

You Picked a Winner
Nearly 3 million people visited our site in 2008. SCORE earned a prestigious Webby Award for Web site excellence in 2005. SCORE was the first small biz group to embrace e-learning and the Internet as an online counseling tool, offering free business advice 24/7.

Plenty of Skills for Your Business
Today, more than 1,200 tech savvy counselors with an amazing 600 combined skills are here to help online. We salute the late Bob Souza of Honolulu, Hawaii. Bob was a true virtual volunteer pioneer who served as SCORE’s Cyberchapter Chair from 1997 to 2006.

It all Began in 1997
We've been online and here to help you since June 11, 1997, and Ask SCORE quickly became this Web site’s hallmark service. Within 90 days, the site garnered more than 1.6 million hits and more than 3,000 online counseling cases. At its inception the site listed 140 online counselors.

We continue to listen to your needs. We've added practical templates, quick 5 tips articles and success stories about entrepreneurs who are making their dreams come true.

While Ask SCORE continues to grow, it remains true to its original goal—to provide small business advice that’s fast, confidential and free, from dedicated, experienced pros. We also have 370 local chapters and 11,200 volunteers nationwide who can meet you in person.

It's your business dream. And, SCORE has the team to coach your success.
